Does using Google AdSense increase the SEO rankings?

The answer i used to give them was 'YES', but today i thought to write how it affect one another in a understandable way.

What is Google Adsense ?

Google Adsense is a program by Google where Publishers can sign-up and if approved can place ads on their website/blog and can earn some $ if someone clicks on those ads which differs everytime based on location and various factors.

What is SEO ?

SEO stands for search engine optimization which has nothing to do with Google Adsense in any way. For more you can read my answer on SEO.

However you would be earning more with Google Adsense if your website SEO is good. Let us understand how?

Better SEO = Better Rankings

Better Rankings = More Organic Traffic

More Traffic = More Clicks on Ads placed on website

More clicks on ads = More $$$ rolling in to your Google Adsense Account

 

Also better the traffic of you blog, it becomes a good place to advertise and more demand leads to more price. Advertisers would be paying more CPC to place adds on your site, So you can make more money.

And if more people click on your adds then it will help crawlers to index the page and result in better SEO

I previously post a article on how to monetize blog by creating Adsense account but question remains the same: How to get Adsense account approval for BlogSpot bloggers, getting an AdSense approval is not that easy. Google AdSense have some strict account approval policies, and one of them is blog should be six months old. Though, it’s not always true, and if you have created a quality Website, you can get an approved AdSense account easily.

• Ensure you don’t use copyright images. Here you can find sites to download free images. If you have copied images from Google search, go back & delete it from your blog.
• Ensure your sidebar looks clean & professional.

 3. Once you sign up by filling required detail, it will ask for your blog or website URL.
 4. After that it will take some time to review your site and notify you by email.
 5. Once you get approved, Check this out for getting approved in first attempt.
     (its not easy to get approved if you don't follow there terms and conditions ),
     its time to place adds on your blog or sites page by copying the HTML
     code for adds from your adsense account.
 6. Now it will show blank adds for some time then start showing real adds, thats it.
